He had the expert advice I needed - I didn't realize how much I didn't know until we started talking about details. I was able to take home samples and see exactly how things would look before pulling the trigger. Mike (owner) is awesome ... he is super knowledgeable about hardwood flooring. His staff is great. the other Mike (who does the installation and any associated carpentry) is also terrific. We used them to install the hardwood floor in our renovated kitchen. They had to do A LOT of prep work on the subfloor, and they did it perfectly! The tigerwood floor went in beautifully on top of our new (and correctly built!) subfloor. We are so happy with them! Their pricing is good, too. we stayed absolutely on budget!

We have been working with Mike F. from Northern Dutchess Hardwoods & Floor Coverings for the past 7 years, considering flooring in our house. They have installed wall-to-wall carpet, wood flooring, and vinyl. Each of those jobs have been completed with the highest level of professionalism. Our most recent project was to cover 90% of our first floor with a high end, dark wood floor. They covered our kitchen, foyer, bathroom, laundry room, and living room/dining room with this flooring. It looks wonderful. Mike, and Dan, patiently worked with my wife and me for two years building up to the installation. For two years, Mike and Dan were patient, professional, gentlemen. I really noticed and appreciated how they worked with us until we found the right product for the right price.
